You have the right to delete (or terminate) your account if you believe you must do so. Still, we need to make sure you understand a few rules and guidelines you must bear in mind.


Rule 0: This action cannot be undone


Once this process is completed, HicceArs will not be able to help you recover your account.

Please do not reach us explaining you wanted to test the feature, as you are risking yourself losing your account and not being allowed to get access to anything left behind.


Rule 1: Funds in your wallet


You cannot have any funds in your wallet. All your available funds must be requested to be withdrawn (which will flag them as held funds), and then one of the HicceArs team members must confirm the processing of your withdrawal request (so the funds are cleared).


If we detect any unusual activity with your withdrawal, we might hold it until we can confirm it is a genuine request.


Rule 2: Posted content


Any user who purchased your content still needs to get access to it. This means, any uploaded or posted content will remain in HicceArs servers for a period of time to ensure:


1. Any user who has purchased your content will be able to keep their access because they paid for it.


2. A HicceArs team member might need to review or moderate your previous content to verify if you have not breached any law. In case you did, we will need to report that content to the relevant authorities for their own investigation.

Rule 3: Purchased content


You must understand that once you have terminated your account, neither you nor HicceArs will be allowed to any content purchased by your (deleted) account. It means HicceArs won't be able to send you a digital copy of your purchased content.


If you plan to delete your HicceArs account, please make sure you have downloaded any purchased content, as we won't be able to assist you with any request or recovery process.


Where you can delete your account:


You will need to log into your account to terminate your account, as this is the only way we have to ensure you are the owner of the account you want to delete.


Once logged in, you can access your account by clicking over the gear icon on the top-right corner, then on the My Account section. Once you're on the My Account page, you will see a sidebar on the left-hand side, with an additional option to allow you to delete your account.



Confirm your acknowledgement:


At HicceArs, we are aiming to help you prevent any loss. That's why you will need to confirm that you are aware of the rule we have stated above by clicking on the switches placed on the right-hand side of each section.


We also need your confirmation that you have read and understood all our legal documentation, including the Terms of Service, Privacy Notice, Cookies Policy, Refund Policy and our Disclaimer.



Security check:


Before deleting your account, we need to confirm that you really are the owner of the account. This is checked by a two-step verification process, including your current password and a unique random security code we send you via email. You can get your unique security code by clicking on the button below the field.


Please be aware we will email you a copy of your acknowledgement alongside your security code, so you can keep your records for the deletion process and the acknowledgement steps you have confirmed.


Once you have confirmed your account password and the security code, we will delete your account's relevant data. Please be advised we might retain some information you have provided to comply with the laws.
